To be fair, its not that bad, all the important announcements on on the ship are in Russian, Japanese and English (normally in that order) and they filled out all the foreigners' migration cards for us.

It was a sharp change from Japanese service though!

I'm looking forward to going the other way - from Russian service to Japanese should be a very pleasant transition ... I hope!
