I was married in Moscow seven years ago and have lost the original. I need the certificate to obtain a divorce in the UK. I have a photocopy of the original, but that is not acceptable in the for legal purposes in the UK

waytorussia Frequent Guest Joined: 17 Mar 2010 Posts: 14	Posted: Wed Feb 12, 2003 6:45 pm    Post subject: Marriage Certificate Hi, You should contact the ZAGS (marriages registration office) where you originally married (most probably it was ZAGS #4 in Moscow - located close to Savyolovskaya metro, Butyrskaya st - see address on our site in Practicalities / Travel Advices / Marriage section. It's cheap or free, dunno, but you'll need to queue for about 1 hour. They work I think daily 10.00 to 17.00 with am hour break sometime during the day, tue-fri Cheers Dmitri / WayToRussia.Net team
