Hello:
what to do if the travel agency refuses to issue you a letter that you can take to UVIR to register your visa? The travel agency my friend used to get his visa first assured him that they will help him with registration (they don't have an office in Vladivostok where he is travelling to), but now tells him to go to a hotel (he is going to stay in a private apartment). Is there anything he can do to make them to issue that letter?
Also, if we have to accept that they are not going to help, would a landlord letter work for registration in UVIR with a tourist visa? We did not have time to make a private invitation and apply for a visitor visa, so we decided to go through a travel agency....
The reason i am asking about UVIR registration is that there is no guarantee that if he gets a hotel for one night, they are going to register him for the whole period of stay...
