I've read through all the info. but I still have a question. If I purchase the visa support from you guys, you tell us where we can register the visa after we enter Russia i.e. Irkutsk or anywhere else that is our first hop off point. Is that right. Thanks

Hi,

First of all, I would like to say that we do not sell the visa support ourselves, it is done by our partner company.

You won't need to register your visa in the office of this company if you're staying in a hotel.

If you're NOT staying in a hotel, this company has offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg (both in center), so you can register your visa there. (The addresses are given to you after you apply for visa support by e-mail).

If the first point of entry to Russia is NOT Moscow or St. Petersburg, then the easiest way is to stay in a hotel. Otherwise, you should inform the visa support company that the first place of entry is not Moscow or St. Petersburg, and they'll provide you with a special letter for local immigration officials. You'll need to go to the local OVIR and they'll register your visa.
Perhaps, the easiest is to have a hotel at least for 1 night, and then you're free to do what you want, just make sure the hotel stamps registration for a longer period than you actually stay there (they are supposed to do it, but if they don't, trick them: say you're staying for a long time, but want (can) to pay for one night only now, explain you don't want them to stamp registration stamps on your visa every day... -- it should work).

Cheers
Dmitri / WayToRussia.Net team
