im a typical 19 yr old american girl and ive seen it with my 20 year old russian boyfriend. we both LOVE it. its SO funny. it makes fun of the united states greatly... but it really makes fun of everyone. Many many jew references. its just one big satire and its so funny.
its harmless funny too. Its really sad if it is banned from anywhere. If you cant make humor, what really is wrong with society?
there are some crazy scenes... such as when the two men are naked and they are wrestling and fighting and they chase eachother around. its not disgusting as much as shocking. like in disgusted awe. haha. but dont worry, you get over it. its funny
theres more crude sexual humor in 40 Year old Virgin than in Borat. |

Downloading the movie now as I type... |
It's not, not anymore anyway, at least in Moscow, my friend told me: Luzhkov personally unbanned I think. |

| Borat didn't make fun of Russia. The only time Russia was mentioned was by idiots in the movie who didn't know the difference between Russia and Kazakhstan. And I'm sure many people who don't know that Kazakh is a separate language (many of the same people mentioned above) thought that they were speaking Russian. But it's really poking fun at Kazakhstan, and America, of course. Just about everyone gets poked fun at though, so it's really all in good fun. |

| Just read in the news that Cohen is not going to play Ali G and Borat anymore. I saw parts of Ali G Indahouse and I find it a bit funny. Borat was hilarious it made those folks like the frat boys and politicians in the US look stupid. |
