traveler04 Just Starting Joined: 05 May 2004 Posts: 1	Posted: Wed May 05, 2004 4:30 am    Post subject: Visa Invitation I will be staying in an apartment in St Petersburg for about 4 days and then traveling to Moscow to stay in a hotel or apartment for about 3 days. Will I need tourist invitations for both locations or can I apply for the tourist invitation in St Petersburg and use for my travels to Moscow? Thanks.

Last year I was in Moscow for 10 days, and St. Petersburg for 4 days. I only registered in Moscow, and I had no trouble with customs when I was leaving. This year I stayed in Moscow for one night at a hotel, and had my visa registered there. I also spent a week in another city, and had my visa registered by an agency there. I was stopped by the police when I returned to Moscow to catch my departing flight. They asked to see my passport to check my visa and migration card. I made sure to point out to them that everything was in order (stamped & registered), and they didn't give me too much trouble.
