Nah, that thought didn't strike me, Wizzy.
Still, one gets used to negative US sentiment over 30 odd years. So, the infrequent counter-claim can really disturb the "normal" thought patterns of the rest of the world.
But, guys, Nikir is right, I found a great site today on Russians:

I don't know if you've read it, but its hilarious! About 20 pages of it.

| I posted something that wasn't meant to be a political post at all...and I was hoping that people here would have read into the post a little deeper and respond to a statement made that is pertainent to this thread. I liked the comment in the article that said Americans are spoiled brats...and I was hoping to get a reaction to that. So far though it was just that this was some right wing republican promo. And actually the person who wrote the article is highly educated, well established, and a major washington insider. Wasn't meant to be political. But yes Bush did a fine job with his speech. |

So out of all that rambling you wanted a response to the claim that Americans are spoilt brats. Well most would agree with you, but again how does that relate to Russia.
There is also a statement there "57% of Americans are clinically deranged"
Good stuff. |

| well this thread is about Russians and Americans...so with out posting the whole article then the statement "americans are spoiled brats" would be too generalized. So it's a must to remain in context. These are not my opinions...merely I posted them to get a reaction and other view points. Certainly perhaps we are spoiled...but there is reason for it...we have more than anyone else...that's a fact! Of course we waste more than others too. But it's because we can! Yes that is being spoiled...and if people complain about that...big f^&k*&g wah! That's a spoiled brat attitude...one that a lot of Americans share... |

Jojo we are spoiled as a whole-as a nation...some are spoiled individually. I am spoiled! And I know that you are spoiled. Nikir is also spoiled...he lives in paradise. Russians are spoiled too...look at all the beautiful women they have. All of us on this forum are spoiled as we are afforded to have the luxury of a computer and the time to be on it. So it's good to be spoiled! And being American we can't help but to be spoiled. |
