The_Moose Just Starting Joined: 18 Dec 2006 Posts: 1	Posted: Mon Dec 18, 2006 7:34 pm    Post subject: Rostov-on-Don - Volgograd - Astrakhan hotels and things Hello there We're planning on passing through Rostov-on-Don - Volgograd - Astrakhan as well as Anapa or Novorossiysk near the Crimea/Ukraine in summer 2007. Does anybody know any cheap hotels to stay in these places that are somewhat central (station area or so)? Is it easy to buy overnight train tickets from Astrakhan to Atyrau/Kazakhstan? Anything else about these places that we should know (especially safety-wise)? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
