Great thread BCbud! It's up to your usual "I read it somewhere, it must be true" standards.

I just looked up what Poutine is and to tell you the truth, it doesn't sound too bad, although it probably brings on a bad case of heartburn! Embarassed I love that sort of thing though, like chili cheese fries or Aussie fries from Outback...so bad for you but such an indulgence every now and then Wink

Speaking of fries...some people I know started putting malt vinegar on their fries and they said this was a popular thing in Canada. Is that true?

malt vinegar is good on fries-I've seen it here. Fries are good but fattening for sure

Fries in themselves are very fattening, then they dump gravy, and cheese on them, to make poutine.

Then lets see your source for what you claim to be the truth. Or do you "just know it"? Favour us with your sources, oh pompous one. Or get back under that rock.

Here in the US we spell "Favour" as "Favor"
It's short and simple. You should start using this shorter form. Learn from the best.

Sorry clueless one. Proper english spelling is favour. We don't use your butchered english here in the real world.
