i am to be married in Moscow in early summer, i am a UK citizen and my future wife is Russian and we hope to live in the uk. how difficult is it to get a visa to live in the UK, what sort of problems can we expect. thanks

Hi Reebay,

It's probably not too difficult providing:-

You will need to show evidence of your relationship prior to getting married with photos, copies of emails, letters, etc. and you will also need notarised English translations of your Russian marriage documents (best get these done in Russia).

Thanks for reply trevor, the trouble is i do not work i am disabled and in receipt of benefits, would they refuse my future wife a visa because of this.
