Men are not desperate in the USA to find women to settle down with. So what are you talking about? Confused again? |
Compared with Russia, they are. Here in the US, you can go to a bar and there will be a line of guys hoping to get one attractive girl in that bar. Obviously, I am not talking about fat chicks - those nobody wants
In Russia you can go to a bar and often see a totally different dynamic - many attractive, slim girls hoping to get attention of a handful of guys. |
True I saw this first hand and russian women will confirm this too |

| absolutely not...and neither do most women in the world including Russia. But the good men are a scarce commodity over there. And the women are so good looking it is very competetive. Whole different ball game. Sex is viewed as sex and love is love...the two may mix but often times not. It is expected that Russian men will cheat-the women know this. Same in Italy, Latin American Countries, Italy, Japan, etc. etc. Seriously In Russia American women would have a tough time...I th |

".......Adultery is rather a social problem than a moral issue in Russia. According to the 1998 opinion poll, almost 40% of the Russians believed that an act of adultery was either “never a mistake” or “sometimes a mistake,” compared to 6% of the Americans who shared the viewpoint. Moscow psychologists say that an affair appears rather inevitable for those Russians who have to share their two-room apartments with in-laws. The number of Russians living in such deplorable conditions is high.
No nationwide survey of sexual practices has ever been conducted in Russia. However, the 1996 opinion poll found out that more than a half of Russian males and a quarter of women had admitted to cheating on their spouses. To some extent, money can offset the emotional pain caused by adultery once it comes to light. According to female respondents, an infidel(huh?) spouse would typically buy a fur coat for his wife or pay for her vacation at a sea resort in Turkey. "

Darth, I am sure Russia went through that same period as the Americans did. I actually attended it to be a joke, half jokingly of course...
What I meant on the "Love Thy Neighbor" thing was, (a version of "free" lovin) the after affects of the 60's and it kinda stuck with that era and it was taught to the younger generation and this is why we have so much infidelity and it was okay to have sex or cheat. My viewpoint. The generation that is our age and younger were handed down what our parents were taught from 60's and all those movements.
I am speaking of Russia too. Didn't Russia have some movements like the US back in the 60's? This stuff kinda "free lovin" got around all over and not just here in America.
Is Russia so behind catching up to what America did years ago? Honestly, I really think that all those freedom movements afftected our traditions and values and I think it reached across the world. It started from there. I am not saying that we shouldn't be free but it was taken literally too far in sexual freedoms and multiple partners.
Just a few crazy theories I have. |

Yes that's true. Cheating is like breathing air over there, just part of everyday life. |
Are you being serious? Where do you get your facts from Stephen Colbert? |
I guess it's just something you learn to live with in Russia for a lot of people. |
