Simple. George W. Bush wants to be a President. Stephen Harper wants to be a Right Honourable Prime Minister. |
We are one country...just the Canadians are Canadians...and the Americans are Americans...other than that we are unified...if the US says jump...Canada says how high? Differences...where...Eh? |

I happened almost six years ago. It's time to move one. I lived in NY when it happened. I thought it was sad too. i payed my respects and ya know what? I got up and over it so i could live in a society to help clean things up. Not speculate over it.

Really! And which taxes are you referring to? Do you own a home? Are you making more than $30k a year? Do you have children? Did you vote in the last National election? Did you inheirit any wealth recently? What specific taxes are you referring to?

Dukes of Hazzard? Haven't seen Dick in George cruising in the General Lee...but if that's what you get out of our Media...hmmmm...makes me wonder
|
I'm just talking about all the follies they have been through. Every time i turn on the news it's like watching i new episode and you think, how them duke brothers gonna get themself out of this one?

You can get that in many other countries.

I've never seen a penny of that.

When did i say i wanted everything given to me? I work hard like every normal grown man and i live like everyone else. I just said the benefits are better in Canada.

Also I'm curious to know how many people own cars or homes in Canada. Is the unemployment rate in Canada less than 5%. Is there free higher education up there and what percent go on to college. Also I was told that to move to certain district, provinces etc...that one must ask for permission...so mobility is restricted. |
Man, I really get a chuckle out of the stuff you and Spice write. You can go anywhere in Canada that strikes your fancy. And your health care follows you wherever you go. I think that the difference in unemployment might be explained by your massive military budget.
Health care lines are a bit long, but at least there are lines. |

You mean we jump, like when Bush wanted to put misslies on our land, or when he wanted us to go to Iraq? You're talking silly now. |

Simple. George W. Bush wants to be a President. Stephen Harper wants to be a Right Honourable Prime Minister. |
You know, when the US presented its case to the UN, and the UN said there wasn't enough evidence to go to war, Jean Chretien said Canada will not enter in that war in Iraq. When it was shown that Bush's reasons for war were BS, people said to Chretien, hey you made the right decision. You are a smart man. Chretien said, I'm nothing special. The decision was easy. The UN would not sanction the war, and Canada follows the rules. It was an illegal war, the decision was made for me. Simple as that. |
And what happened to him? We went to war in Iraq because...well we had a policy of regime change for there. And because of oil...why is no longer the issue...Bush will be out of office soon enough...now the question is what to do? Yes it is a mess...I tend to think it is the right mess...but we each can have our opinions...but the situation is what to do? Either direction not an easy answer and none of us really no what it is...all of us here in this forum are not in the true know...not really. Big issues at hand here. One thing is for certain...until that region is stable there won't be peace |

Chretien was in power for nearly 10 years, I think. He stepped down, retired, and Paul Martin took over. Nobody voted Chretien out of office. |

Martin was one crappy Prime Minister. He stole millions of tax dollars. Good think that election was forced, and Stephen harper was put in office instead. |

Yep he was. But at least he said no to American missiles on Canadian soil. Chretien was involved in some of those patronage scandals too. The jury's still out on Harper. We'll have to see about him. But I already see some double talking like on the environment. I'm glad federalists have formed th opposition in Quebec. I think that is a step forward. No more stupid referendums on sovereignty |

Yes, that would be terrible - American missiles on the Canadian soil! They would destroy Canada. And what if one of those missiles accidentally went off and destroyed Quebec City? Chretien would not be able to survive that one...
Canada should be happy to get any kind of missiles. |

Yes it would be terrible. We don't need any favours from you. It would be the beginning of the long descent into the distaste that the world has for America, and Curious George, the presidential Gibbon. BTW Chretien is from Shawinigan. Not every Frenchie comes from Montreal or Quebec city. (Thats just where the Quebec secret police are stationed). |

So, if it was your way, US of A would just throw it's feces.. err, missiles all over the place? Europe, Canada, hell, Israel and South Africa, Australia and Japan! Oh, and why don't you put one in South Korea too! That would make China and Russia so damn happy! Then they won't sell nuclear weapons to Iran and North Korea for sure! Yeah, and that would even make those people who support Nazi and terrorist regimes stop supporting them! (I am being sarcastic here, in case you didn't catch it, estupido!). |
