You stated on another thread that you received a pardon.

I'll be the first to admit that I know very little about the Canadian justice system, but in many places your "record" would make you a "habitual criminal" ("habitual felon", "career offender" or something like that). They give pardons to such persons in Canada??

Or does that say it all? (I also note the plural.)

I posted a very good New York Times article. Instead of thoughtful discussion, nothing but dumb comments from yorbcbud....

I know it's a long article, but I think it's worth reading.

Well, I expected more out of the others but, if I knew something about politics I would post to this because it is very interesting.

So, since you posted it, what do you think? You didn't give us your own feed back on it. Wink

It was the only way I could keep people awake through yet another of your long, boring posts, although I must commend you for not referencing some form of vegetable, or bread product. Laughing

Actually, I've never owned a harley. Two Norton Commandos, a Beamer,a couple Triumph tridents, and 3 Bonnevilles. Never cared much for the unreliability of Harleys. But they are much better now. I would definitely consider it, but I've been eyeballing the new Victory. Really reminds me of the old Indians, particularly the old Chiefs. And American made. We don't really make fun of Sportys here. They are very light, and fast. Nothing to be ashamed of. Unless they fall over on you. Laughing Laughing

He looked a little "stout" in his pics, so he must be short.

I'm not big on bikes but you've had some good ones then and i'd like to have a old norton or triumph. Yeah when I was a kid my dad had a harley and now he went out and bought one for each of us...so I got lucky. Just I need to get up there and ride...hopefully this summer. It's a very nice sportster though...too nice to ride and I'm very nervous about dumping it. I used to ride enduros as a kid but that was a while ago and is diffferent from street riding. So with more practice and time on it I will get more into it. It's a lot lighter than the deuce-that's too big for me right now. Porshes and Harleys...my dad get's around for a 70 year old. Hope to do the same at his age

I have a Yahama 175 YZ dirt bike, and it's a blast. I don't worry about dumping it. Trail riding is harder than street riding, tires stick to pavement way better than gravel. All my street bikes had the footpegs scraped off from leaning so far in the corners.
