Tammy is not Tamara among the russians. I know. I've been there.

As a matter of fact there's a name Toma there, but still it has nothing to do with Tamara.

BTW, Tamara in Russian is pronounced: Tah - mah - rah.

You peeps need to learn a lot.

Vitals, go back and look at my post again. That is the layout for Tamara. It origins is Hindi to start with. It becomes FORMS. Then Wall la...it becomes English form of Tamarah and it makes it Tammy or Tammie.

I didn't even mention the name, Toma.... Confused

No dinner for you.

What are the worst Russian names? Not that I know all too many, but I greatly dislike Olga and Piotr (spelling?). Igor isn't all that pleasant either, but it's especially bad when Americans say "Ee-gor".

I'm not fond of Olga either but Olya is very nice

Yeah, that does sound better. I was told you're not supposed to make the "g" in Olga sound hard, which is probably what contributes to it sounding so harsh. I like knowing people's names, especially their last. That was the conversation starter with my husband when we first met.

Boy, no wonder they ostracize you here. Nobody likes the smart ones. And yes, you are. Crabman, in my economy of things you are an intellectual.

(PS if the dope head from Canada called you names and made your life miserable here, get over it and do not read his stupid posts. He is a pathetic loser with droopy mustache. And we all KNOW what THAT means. He-he.)

I would hope I could give you the benefit of doubt that you understood my smart-elic slang. WALL-LA is slang for "look and Behold" or presenting the answer.

It's a chain of for-profit 2-yr schools for those who could not get into any "normal" college.

Guess I don't know American slang. Must be a coincidence that your American "Wall la" means the same thing as the French "voilà". Did the Frenchies steal the American word?
