Kids need room to run around, and escape pollution. Inner cities arent places to escape pollution, or run around. What you describe about suburban areas is a lame stereotype of some of the newer shit thats being thrown up.

New York City has many suburbs around it. So, there's enough place for those that like those boring suburbs. The whole state of New Jersey is closeby and is as boring as your favorite saburbia.

Regarding room to run around. Have you heard of many parks that we have in New York? They are excellent. Central Park, Riverside Park, Madison Square Park, etc. all have large and great play areas for children. There are hundreds of small parks and playgrounds here as well. My apartment building has a private garden with playground, for example.

Prospect Park in Brooklyn is also huge and amazing.

We are not talking about "inner cities" That term usually refers to poor and bad neighborhoods.

New York's true advantage is for those who have good education and skills to take advantage of the opportunities in this city. Fire_G. should stay in her crappy little firm. We don't have too many of those here.

That's what I loved about NY, were those parks. I miss NY.
