SInce all I have is a map with a legend that appears to show the Distance between Irkutsk and Moscow at about 4200 K, I was wondering if anyone knew appromimately how long the Train ride is from Irkutsk to Moscow in hours or days ect... How inconvienent of a trip is it as far as length, eating, using facilities, sleeping, finding ways to stay awake! Thank you, Max

Take a weighty tome, cards or travel chess/backgammon/chequers. Stock up in moscow with instant noodles or coffee/tea bags. Grab a toilet paper roll while you are at it. You are generally supplied linen at a modest charge on board and there is a big samovar at one end of the car. In a tiny nutshell Usualsuspect
