Way to Russia Talk Lounge

My Daughter ( teenager) and I are traveling to Novosibirsk In July. She wants to see the zoo. Does any one have any suggestion or concerns I should be aware of. We are staying at the Hotel Sibir and have arranged transport with the hotel.

Any input would be great.

I suppose there are vaccination/medical issues to sort out before patting cuddly Siberian tigers, etc?

Ok Thanks for the comments, I was really wondering if there is anything we need (A cant miss kind of thing) to see there besides the zoo. This is our first trip To Russia. I was just wondering about Museums or places of interest.

well... i mean... have you considered going to moscow or st. petersburg? unless you have some kind of an unavoidable destination in novosibirsk (except for the zoo of course), i suggest you consider visiting the aforementioned.
