I remember Neil Diamond. What a great song writer. His music was so well liked he started other bands doing remakes of his songs. He did "Kentucky Woman" too! That song was a big hit in the 70's. Not that I am focusing you guys on that song but that song was great. Deep Purple did a remake on that one and it was 9 minutes long. |

Early Neil Diamond was great! Kentucky Woman, Solitary Man was super too!
My Dad has a CD of his early hits, I borrow it once in awhile and blast a few of my favourites!
Elvis, well he was the King! Just had our annual Elvis festival in Collingwood last weekend. Didn't go this year but there's always next year! Early Elvis is my favourite. I have two CD's of his early stuff. I also have a gospel CD of his. His voice is just plain beautiful. Almost 30 years he's been gone. Just a plain shame.
