Oh yes, let's forget about violence on schools and think about racism in Russia. Let's make a mountain out of a molehill.
I repeat, every country has problems and I'm confident that the Russian society will overcome it. |

You are comparing apples with oranges, nobody is forgetting about school violence, but lets get one thing straight, these strings of school related violence are not connected with each other, moreover they are confined to school yards, not spilling out into neighborhoods affecting non students. School related violence is easier to nip in the bud if the schools are really interested in doing so (hence the need to stop school bullying). Who is nipping these random racial attacks in the bud in Russia? What did the victims do to deserve the violence? Were these victims purposely hanging around in known hot beds for violence? No, they were probably just trying to mind their own business and instead were confronted by not one, but a group of blood thirsty assholes who think knifing tourists and people of other nationalities and colors other than "white", is gonna some how keep Russia, for Russians. If Russia wants to remain for Russians only, then they can stop their import/exporting of goods. That means life gets worse for these little gutter snipes who think they are saving Russia by knifing one tourist at a time. |

Yes, every country has problems, and even every nationality has problems, but you're not dealing with the problem if you don't admit it. I am not afraid of racist attack in Russia, well, because my Russian is good enough to get me through, and colour of my skin is white. Not all European countries have such skin head violence as your country. Get your news from somewhere else than You Tube and you know more. But to be honest I am afraid of Russian Skin Heads, I would never have the courage to wear anti-fascist badge in the center of St. Pete, because some of my friends from anti-fascist movements have got beaten by RANDOM skin heads in St. Pete, and that was at the metro station in the central area. And that doesn't happen in my country, here I am not that afraid of skin head attacks and not worrying for my friends.
And just to mention, no reason to yell me about USA, I have nothing to do with that country, that is I don't live there, never have, I have not even a single relative there at the moment. What ever you have against that country don't bring it on me.
Just a thought, could Europe be slightly different place on earth if Willy Brandt had not apologised for the horrors of WW2? Now we take it for granted, but at the time it was not. If Russia doesn't combat against skin heads, your grand children have nothing to take for granted. |

Russia only for Russian. It's impossible. Because Russia always was and is the multinational state in which territory lives more than 180 nationalities.

| well...I think the skinhead problems are probably mostly in the white cities in Russia...like St Pete...really...would Vladivlastok have a skin head problem. Or would Kazan? |

Surfguy, both St.Pete and Moscow have been multicultural cities for long time. University for students of third world countries was established in 1960's, non-Russian nationalities in big "white" cities in Russia are nothing new. There have been bonehead attacks also in Rjazan and Kazan.
iSunny, please, try to get the quotations right! I've done my share for better world, as a voluntary, in demonstrating, participating in NGO's. At the moment I am busy with my studies, but through my work and my future profession I have opportunity to speak for understanding and accepting cultural pluralism. Unfortunately, I am not into para-military actions, and seriously hope we don't need them yet  |
