Hi everyone, Im goin to vladivostok this coming august and i'm goin alone. I never been to vladivostok before and i'm not sure if is a good idea to stroll alone in unfamilliar city? My friend supposed to travel with me but unfortunately he has work commitment. If anyone out there who can give me tips or how to enjoy day in vladivostok, I'll be appreciated.

I travelled to Vladivostok last November by myself. I wandered around the streets alone for 4 days with no real problem, even very late at night. It was a bit scary I have to admit, but that was mainly because I'm not used to having people drink on the streets and also not having anyone around who spoke english haha. BUT I have fair skin and blue eyes so blended into the Vlad population very well. I also dressed like a Russian. So if you are afraid just try and blend in and people won't notice you so much.
