A quick question, I have a Russian friend whose birthday is approaching. Can someone tell me how I can wish her a happy birthday - both to say, and to write in cyrrilic in a card (searches on the internet have been fruitless).

Many thanks,

John

ps I made my first visit to Russia in May and had a great time - looking forward to going back.

To wish happy birthday to someone in Russian:

С днём рождения!

(pronounced: S d'nem rozh'deniya)

Thanks for the quick response.

Great website by the way - it was a huge help in planning my recent trip to Moscow.
