Especially since they were in the same colour scheme as Public (Government owned) buses here in Sydney.

Don't be so sure about that. Bondi is quite famous for its' sewage treatment plant. Hence the famous phrase "driving the porcelain bus to Bondi"

But then thought its best left in the 80's where it belongs. Funny how there is so much reference to excrement in the forum today.
