Well now, I'll feel right at home on my first visit! I'll get to wake up and stagger down to Starbucks for that first morning latte! Heavenly!

| Starbucks sucks. Russians don't drink American style coffee. However, foreigners will ejoy it. Otherwise, there is no market for it. |

I know it does well here in the US, but I don't know about Russia. What is Russians idea for coffee? Don't they drink Espresso or is the coffee there heavy and like bitter syrup? |

Турецкий кофе, my favorite! Nothing like a good cup of coffee that has the consistence of sledge. |

Awh, I love the lattes. Second Cup never seemed to get the balance right. Those machines at Starbucks times the whole process and if it doesn't pour during the right time on the machine, they dump it. Mind you, if the machine is having a bad day, you could be standing there waiting for a coffee for 10 minutes!
Yes, I heard the coffee is similar to Turkish. Greeks drink a similar style too right?

The sludge at the bottom, are you supposed to spoon it up or just drink the liquid?

| Russians have always liked coffee - both black and with milk. And now, there are lots of coffee shops where a huge variety of pastries, desserts and various coffee drinks - from capuccino to espresso. There are many more places in Moscow and ST Petersburg where one can have great sweets with coffee than in a typical American city. |

You are suppose to just drink the liquid and leave the grounds at the bottom of the cup when you are finished. If you are lucky enough to be drinking your Turkish coffee at a cafe in Istanbul, then maybe a fortune teller will come up to you and read your "grounds" and tell you about your future. |
