Lenin's last name was Ulianov. Is that Jewish?

Well certainly ruskii's joke is not as bad as...How come jewish people's noses are so big? ....Air is Free!

This is one a buddy told me in Russia: "Why are Jews' noses so huge: that's because when God was handing out noses to different people, when he created them, and the first Jew came to him and asked, "God, is it for free?" God answered: "Yes". The Jew said: 'Oh, then give me the biggest one!". Laughing Laughing Laughing

Yeah they pretty much succeeded in doing both, however, Stalin later on had most of them (Bolsheviks) killed off in the gulags.

I heard that lenin started the Revolution to avenge his brother, who was hanged by the Tsar for being a terrorist (he tried to blow him up, threw a bomb at his carriage or something).

Hehe... that's the irony of it... did you know that most heads of OGPY, and later on, NKVD, in Stalin's time, ended up shot by firing squad, I think, maybe one actually died his own death...

Is that Lenin's real body on display or a waxed figure of him in Moscow?

I think that's real... I mean, they wouldn't spend millions, possibly billions, of dollars trying to preserve a waxed fake, would they?

I read this on allprikol.ru, a Russian humour site.

Quote:
An American, a Frenchman, and a Russian are talking about cow-slaughtering techniques in their countries:

The American: "In our country, before they kill the cow, they let it listen to classical music, it makes the meat softer!"

The Frenchman: "We kill our cows with electric shock. This way, it can't feel it's death, and our meet is even softer, and better."

The Russian: "Well, in Russia, I come into a store, there horns, legs, cow body parts everywhere... I don't know, maybe they blow 'em up or something?"
Laughing Laughing Laughing

I don't know if you get the joke, it is Russian humour, as I said. It is different from American.

That would be dry humor. I really get into British humor...I loved watching Benny Hill, The Young Ones, Absolutely Fabulous, Keeping Up Appearances (KET) and all the Pink Panther movies...they were the best...
