The Ukraine is on the up for sure...the economy is growing and many foreign interests groups are investing into their market. Russia should worry because the Ukraine is advancing in the European market plus Russia losing Odessa was a sore spot for them..

Wow! Who is the retard now? Russia never LOST Odessa: Odessa always was a part of Ukraine. Fucking moron. Go educate yourself. Or just stick to pollution topics, and to whining about how bad toilets are in russia. that is what you do best after all. Besides making an ass out of yourself. You are the Champion in that one.[/b]

The way my husband made it sound, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia basically gave Crimea to the newly independent Ukraine. He always says , "Yeah, we were stupid to give them the best area on the Black Sea".

Crimea - yes. But it wasn't after the collapse, it was waaaaaaaaay before, when we were still basically one country, and Khruschev, who was the General Secretary at the time (1954) gave to Ukrainian SSR as a "present". Odessa, on the other hand, was not a part of Crimean oblast, or associated with Crimea in any way. It was always Ukraine. And yes, there was a port there, but it wasn't a RUSSIAN port, it was a SOVIET port. There is a difference, unless you are a dumbass like StephenB who keeps thinking that Soviet Union was Russia. Soviet Union was made up of many nations. The Russians were NOT the only nation, nor were they any kind of "master" nation, as some try to say right now. Everyone was equal. That port belonged as to the Ukrainian people, as it did to the Russians. Sailors and officers from both nations served and sailed there. Ofcourse it was given to Ukraine after the collapse. Odessa IS Ukraine. Once again, I want to say, I am tired of idiots here in North America calling the Soviet people, made up of over 150 different cultures and languages, "Russians".

Also, I am in no way a patriot of today's Russia, Spice. Didn't you read what I had to say about russia before. About all the drunkness, the corruption, etc.

I just don't like ignorant American mama's boys who wouldn't know Vladikavkaz from Vladivostok talking about Russia in a negative way. if you don't know shit, don't talk shit. That is my policy.

And StephenB, I feel better being a "Commie", then being a fag, like you. And I'll be a great father to my son, you be sure of that. Yeah, I am a Communist, I believe in workers' rights, and free healthcare and education, you got a problem with that, shitface? Huh? Do you? What are you going to do about it now?

for ever! Evil or Very Mad

Russki, you are such a crying baby about everything..you cannot stand anyone talking about Russia...positive or negative. However, you thrive on the negative because it appears that's your personality..Negative!! Most of the time you don't even know what you are talking about. You won't be a good father because you will teach your child to hate anyone who is different than you. You have such a pernicious attitude towards gays and other groups that don't fit your world. It's all good because you are entitled to your own opinion, however, karma will come back to you in one form or another..I gaurentee that to you. It's funny since I've been on here it's you and I going at it..and that's not my nature to fight. Nevertheless, I can put up a good fight verbally and physically when I have to when the situation gets too out of hand..Let's go back and see how this arguement started...I came back from Kazan said positive things about it and said it had pollution and I didn't like the toilets..YOU of course being a big SISSY was insulted...which makes me laugh...what STRAIGHT GUY(?) would care so much about what I have to say about pollution or toilets..However, guess who attacks me it's YOU. Calling me a whiner and I don't have any right to say anything about Russia...Then you are sooooo stupid and write that you have to say something negative to me because you don't like me...Well VICTOR if this keeps on going I'm going to report you to the moderator for harrassment...I have every right to be on here and talk about Russia. So keep it up...because all of your post are on here and it clearly shows who's the trouble maker.... Rolling Eyes

Remember that this thread is about the Toilet Seat. But instead of talking about #1 and #2, you are delving into other issues and patriotic men out here get a bit crazy. Russia is highly polluted and increasingly undemocratic. Russki likes Russia - but from afar. He likes to live in Canada where the toilet seats are clean.

Spice agree with you about keeping on the topic...LOL..I even said, that the toilets in Kazan were not the best...nothing goes down...too small of a tank. Shocked Look at my first thread since I got back from Kazan...and see WHO took it to a different direction...OY VEY!!!!!!

Well this thread is one big toilet so with all the shit that is going on here...it is quite difficult to get off topic. Russkii you raise a very good and valid point on the fact that the USSR is different from Russia...and that us Americans do not differentiate between the two when we probably should. But the fact is it's easy for us not to seperate the two because...after all the Kremlin ruled the USSR and it is located in Moscow.
But the fact too...is that most Americans just do not give a shit about Russia or the USSR. But for those of us who are here...we obviously do.

Ok recently I asked a friend of mine who is in Kyrgistan how her family ended up there if she is russian. And so she explained it all to me and I found it fascinating and interesting. And too that her story is just such a common migratory tale. And even in my own family...my ancestors came to the America on the Mayflower in 1620. Also later on they came to California in 1850...in covered wagons. My family name on both my Mom's and Dad's sides are two very Aristcratic old families from Virginia. Lot of history in my family...but don't we all have this. Anyways The USSR was fascinating as is Russia because there is such a variance in culture and people. Now after traveling and studying and interacting with Russians...I am able to realize that ther is a difference between the People of St Pete...who have a more scandanavian influence and a different accent. Also The people of The Ukraine are different...even though Kiev at one point was the capital of Russia. I know that the Kazan region is mostly made up of Tatars. Anyways I guess we all are learning...about each other...and well the richness of where we are from.

Perhaps we all should travel more...and see more...do more...learn more...and be more

I don't. As long as Jo Jo shaves her underarms and has a man that can give her pleasure, I'll be fine.
