Basically it's "I am afraid that he may have plans for these days, maybe not, but I need to focus on finding out".

As for the standard, how about "Я убегу в офис сейсас (я еще дома- совсем опаздал" Come on Daria, no one would say that. And never mind the spelling.

Yeah I suppose this guy didn't have my grandmother teaching him Russian from childhood. She was a real perfectionist. Unfortunately I have forgotten a lot from lack of use>
