What do you mean by appreciated?
There are several yoga centers in Moscow teaching different styles.
Probably the biggest center (most # of sites around town) is the Iyengar center (yoga.ru). I've gone there several times and their teachers are good and the studios very nice. There is also an Asthanga center (yoga108.com) which I visited once.
There are a few other styles also taught here, but I haven't personally been to the centers.
So there is a reasonable community of yogis, probably small for the population of the city, but still good.
It's easy to find yoga equipment (mats, props, etc.).

I am in U.S presently, originally from India. I love to meet a russian girl who is interested in Yoga. Do you mind to ask if she/they would like to email me. I am a Yoga teacher since 1986. Real good intentions from me!
I am guessing you are in Moscow.
Appreciate your help!
Have a good day!

I greatly appreciate Kdejones! You have given me a valuable information. I have been trying to visit Russia again ( visited Moscow in 2004 for 1 week) That was a horror. I was terrified about the fact that I overstayed as my visa was valid for one day it seems. I couldn't read Russian where it said Transit visa for one day. I literally ran from pillar to post fearing that I would be arrested and they make me disappear. It was stupid!

This time I want to stay a month and enjoy with good community. I need to find an economical clean place to stay. I am a certified Yoga teacher but mainly I am a health care professional. This time I am looking for a good company. I am originally from India.
I am grateful for any info you can provide me! Thanks
