Relationship IS work. Being "on top of your loved one" is "exploitation." Well, in a good way, of course.

That would be the case if the woman is very fat and heavy.

Relationships are work, period.
If you want one, it's a daily task.
Easy to throw your hands up and walk away.

If your relationship is work, you should not have one. What's the point? The only work you should be doing is when you're on top of your loved one.

The funny thing is that Yuri calls me evil! Laughing
Then I either swear at him or give him the finger.
He gets a kick out of that, he keeps saying, what does that mean.
Same as when I give him the finger from my other hand, sod off wanker!

They are a strong people for sure, they have had to be.
He was telling me about this couple he knows, she's Russian and the husband is Irish Canadian. Married for almost 20 years but they got divorced, have one daughter. He thinks the husband just wasn't strong enough to stand alongside his wife. He says Russian women are strong.

Maybe its a cultural thing too. He says Canada has no culture.
I keep telling him to pack his bags and take a hike.
He's still here, bloody Russian man doesn't take instruction well does he.

Dude...have you ever dated one...I was with one for some time and trust me I have had plenty of friends who have dated them and married them too...all of us came to the same conclusion...they don't. So I beg to differ. Perhaps you should date one. Or ask any filipino man and he will tell you.

I have tons more friends and friends of friends who have tried both, not to mention the myriad of Filipino co-workers, and other individuals I associate with. Maybe your friends and you dealt with the Spanish speaking Filipinos instead of the ones who speak Tagalog.

Well we are greatly influenced by the US but, if we took the time to develop our own, distinct culture, then it would be more visible.

He is very much against western thinking, finds it way too liberal, blames this way of thinking for all the really bad things that are happening here, the US and even back home.

Sometimes he drags on a bit but he does make some valid points.
