I want to play my russian friend, because after losing billiards to her I need to redeem myself and I can't handle the verbal abuse Im taking about it!! The only place we could find that had a table was an aqua park and they wouldn't let you in just to play ping pong....Im thinking someone has to know a bar or pub somewhere in Piter that has a table..... By the way I am Marty....30yr old male...i feel like I know some of you as I have been reading this forum for quite sometime, just never got around to registering...Im a frequent visitor to SPB, i have some strange passion for Russia. I want to see it all... But any help on this Ping Pong table would be greatly appreciated as it would allow me to regain some dignity!!

Maybe I just go to the wrong places. I would suggest university, or similar place where students gather, rather than bars. Tried to Google пинг понг в санкт питербурге but nothing concrete came up. If you are really desperate, you could try this search again and persevere. Why not just challenge her to another round of billiards and make sure you win

There would be a sign saying "swimming pool" in russian. You better take some russian comrade with you to ask directions as it is not so easy to find. Mayka Just Starting Joined: 20 Nov 2007 Posts: 2	Posted: Wed Nov 21, 2007 10:11 am    Post subject: There is pavilion in the park "Парк победы" (Park Pobedi) with ping-pong and billiard near the metro "Парк победы" Also in institute ЛЭТИ ул. професора Попова, д.5 (http://www.eltech.ru/map/arrive.htm) near metro Петроградская (Petrogradskaya). Your need 5 bulk and when you come, go forward, only get round the wall.

They have something like 5 tables.. You can rent your playing gear there. The streetname is ул. Шостаковича And it is 5 minutes walking from the metrostation..
