Maybe you thought you had done it up and didn't notice that it came undone, or perhaps you didn't put it on because you'd had a bleed and were feeling very tender across the tummy, whatever, think of something more plausible than exhaustion and lapses in memory.

I told them at first I had my belt on, but took it off. It doesn't matter anyway, this girl didn't even try to break. It is automatically her fault.
