I have been searching on the internet for some time about where should i study so i found it should be good opportunity in russia because i already understand russian here and there(i am speaker of slavic language myself) and because in my country there is no such programme.
I have searched for universities,on particular what i want to study and stumbled on the website of MAI(Московский авиационный институт).
I have seen that they offer preparatory courses for foreigners(russian and other subjects related to the programme) so they can later on enroll on studies in russian language.
I have already sent an email there with my questions but i did not get a response.
So i am asking for someone that lives in Moscow or at least knows russian if they can find information for a few questions:
1.What previous education do they require for this preparatory courses?
2.What are the chances that i can later on enroll on studies taking in advance that this university is popular and there is a great competition for places but simply what is the way of ranking students?

I would really appreciate if anyone gets this information for me.
