ive managed to find tickets for all trains on my journey through one company but they cant get tickets from beijing to ulan bator. does anyone know where i can get one in advance? i dont want to wait until i get to beijing as that will leave only 3 days to get tickets. cheers.

You should try a Chinese travel agency. Unfortunately travel agencies in Russia are not authorized to sell tickets originating in Beijing. If you find anything, could you please post the contacts of the agency here, so that other travelers can use it as well?
