Hi. I plan to pass from Russia to Mongolia by the trans sibirian train at Julay and than to come back to Russia through the Altai mountains in the west of Mongolia at August. I heard that I can do it and I also have a visa for three month double entry. I wish to know where exactly this path is (road M52 or M54 or where?). Is this pass open all the time? How long it takes to get over this pass? How much it is dangerous to go alon in the Altai mountains hitchhike and hikeing?

I also have another question- Does someone know a site in Russian or in English that advertises people that drive for long distance in Russia and want to take hitchhikers with them?

I will be glad for any information
thank you:-)
