Hello,
I am planning a trip soon and have some questions that hopefully someone here can help with. I am staying with friends who sent me an invitation. They sent the original and a signed, stamped copy. Only the copy arrived! According to the website, the consulate will only accept the original. The copy is stamped and signed, will that be enough?
I have tried many times to call and ask but there is never an answer if the phone even rings. My question is; is this going to be a problem? If so can I book a room just for a night (my arrival) and use the visa support from the hotel for a tourist visa? Or do I have to book the whole trip then cancel? Are either of these options?
Another question is what exactly does "same day processing" mean? I will be in NY soon and planned to apply in person. It can't be that I can walk out with a visa in just a day.
As you might be able to tell this is my first trip to Russia (and over seas). Any help on this would be greatly appreciated:) Thank you!! |
