I am an American, married to a wonderful Russian lady. I met her in 1993, and we were married in 2001. We met in person while I was working in St.Petersburg. Since our marriage we have had our ups, and downs, but generally it has been a great experience. My wife gives me much inspiration to learn more, and possibly help other's in, or about to enter into an international relationship.
I have been reading several other websites on International relationships. Most all present themselves as match makers, dating services, marriage brokers, and so on. These websites advertize great results, and a large variety of services, with beautiful women that seek a life time mate. Since the advent of computers this phenomenon has exploded into a very profitable business on both sides of the ocean.
I am now doing research on this subject, hopefully, for a future publication, and I have questions for all people who use Way To Russia website as an outlet. I am looking for anyone who is in a relationship with Russian ladies, weather it is an emailing correspondence, or marriage engagement that has been accomplished through the Internet. I am very much wanting to hear from Western men who have married the Russian lady of their dreams, either presently, or in the past. I know many people do not like to share personal information about their private life, and no real names are needed if that would help you elaborate in more details if you wish.
1) If married, how did you meet, how long have you been married, and is your marriage what you expected, or not?

5) What encouraged you to seek a mate in Russia?

6) Have you ever been to Russia before? If so, what was the reason for your visit?

7) If married to a Russian lady, and you are living in your home country, what adjustments in your mates life has she had difficulties with? What adjustments have you had difficulties with?
