Hi all A new member here In beginning of next year, I'm planning to go to Thailand by train. First to Moscow and from there by the Trans-Siberian Railway to Beijing (Peking) via Mongolia and so on (se the travel route at http:// www.seat61.com/Trans-Siberian.htm) I wonder if someone here have any experiences in that kind of trip or maybe have traveled with Trans- Siberian Railway and can give me some tips, warnings or suggestions on places to visit along this is trip. Or join me on this crazy trip (as my friends call it). If you know someone traveling under the period january-february through Russia let me know, it's always more safe and more fun to travel whit someone /tomasz

jen Guest	Posted: Tue Jan 06, 2004 6:42 am    Post subject: Travel in march likely The damn whole idea of travelling is to meet new people - never mind baba's reply - she lacks the maturity in travel. yes some travel companions are good and some are bad - if bad then the party split - how difficult can that be. more and more people travels alone. T I am going in march from st petersburg moscow , stop over at baikal lake to beijing. Just started my research. I might be willing to meet up along the way. when are you going and what plans have you made, may be we can exchange some ideas. Write to me at apa_inih@yahoo.co.uk
