Is it true that the Cyrillic alphabet is very different when it is handwritten? If so, should I memorize the alphabet in its typed form? If the characters are different, where can I find accurate handwritten versions? Thanks Smile

It's not a soup Wink and not too hard to memorize it. To get really proficient at handwritten Russian should take time though and lots of writing...

Handwritten alphabet:

When writing by hand, beware that inbetween some letters sometimes a small additional line is needed to differentiate with another letter.
This will be the case for instance for the 'л' and the 'м'.
