"In a video linkup with the Chechen capital of Grozny, Putin promised to tackle the problem of rampant civilian abductions in Chechnya but said law enforcement officials could be responsible just as well as separatist rebels." The question the young lady (a 4th year student in Grozny State University) was regarding the (high) unemployment rate in Chechnya and what will be done about it and the (bad) reputation that Chechens have in Russia that is hampering their chances to find employment elsewhere and what is done about their reputation in the rest of Russia. Nowhere did Putin mention anything about abductions or officials? Have no clue where they got that from. I saw that question 20 minutes ago (rerun on RTR now). So I would not trust the rest of the article. Vic
