|
|
Hi all,
Some places have advised against handing over my original passport to the militia. Are copies legit enough?
I am not sure what constitutes having proper documentation in Russia (only going for 'short' 12 day trip to Russia).
Thanks much for all advice. |

Why would you need to hand over your passport to the militsia?
Of couse you absolutely should have copy of your passport and visa under any circumstances. Don't leave home without it. |

when you are in moscow, you should always carry your documents with you. if you have registration and a real non expired visa, then you have no worries. specially if you have an american or eu passport.
keep the copies of your passport in your bag in your hotel |
