OKay, so what's up with Russians all thinking that Alaska should be a part of the Motherland? You poor misguided fools, Alaska truly belongs to Canada, a far superior country in every way. Cool

(I'm just being an idiot, by the way. I don't actually believe that Canada is far superior to Russia in every way Rolling Eyes

But seriously, maybe I don't know my history but why do many Russians claim that their country should own Alaska? Educate stupid me.

Alaska should be an independent country. Although, the last person who made a big deal of Alaskan independence was killed. The U.S. takes a dim view of individual States who want to leave the Union and run their own affairs.
