Hello,

I need to clarify some point on visa registration. Confused
Here is my story: I plan to spend two weeks in Russia this summer
- I will arrive in StPetersburg on a train from Helsinki on the 9 July, and would like to stay in a rental apartment (which I plan to rent though waytorussia.net) for 6 nights,
- then I would like to go for 2 days/1 night in Novgorod, and stay in a hotel there.
- then at last stay in Moscow for 6 days/5 nights, again in a rental apartment from waytorussia.

My question is: Do I need to register my visa in St Petersburg AND THEN ALSO in Moscow again? or even also in Novogord, ie. every time I move to a new city??

Is waytorussia able to help my with the visa registration in each of the two bigger cities (StP & Moscow)? Should I use the hotel support in Novgorod or is a one night stay so short that I don't need to do anything when I am there? Question

Thanks for your help
Fred

Officially you need to register your visa in every city you are staying for longer than 3 working days. In reality it's usually enough if your visa is registered for the whole period at the first city you arrive.

If you get visa support through Way to Russia, then you can register it in St. Petersburg (it takes only one day) and unless you're concerned about police checks I wouldn't register it anywhere else. Maybe only later in Moscow, as you will be leaving from there back home.
