Spylog!?

There's a spylog downloading itself automatically on my laptop every time I use the forum. What is this? The spylog goes something like this: www.y80... and so forth. I can't believe it.

Seriously, a little bit less emotions, and you'll find out that SpyLog is the largest Russian web site statistics service -- http://spylog.com providing stats for about 500 000 websites. The little thingie that's loaded on your computer is a cookie (you get it at almost every website nowadays -- it's not personalized, just a snippet to track visitors' behavior) and it's completely harmless.

At least in Russia they don't monitor your phone calls for no good reason. Or do they still do that? Maybe it can be new common ground Americans and Russians can share.
