Hi Everyone,
I'm in to my 3rd week of 20 studying russian in S.P. Does anyone know of any public libraries in the area that foreigners can use to study in? I'm not too keen on studying in my host family as it's quite a small space and hard to get comfy.
Also whilst i'm on the topic of studying, does anyone have any hints as to how to improve my poor russian? e.g. thinks i should perhaps visit or read etc etc.
Perhaps anyone looking for a study partner?

Thanks

John

I saw a very large library in Moskovskiy rayon. You can easily get there by metro. Near the large park. Not sure what that is used for though.

Thanks for the advice guys. Can you recommend anywhere else also that I can just sit and study without being disturbed? Maybe a decent cafe where i can sit for 2/3 hours?
If anyone is learning russian and is a relative beginner who wants practice, let me know as I will be happy to practice too.

There are some places you can go to, like Ideal Cup(Idealnaya Chashka) cafe, Republic of Coffee cafe and some others. Just look around you while walking in the centre of the city and you'll see them.
