|
|
Hello!
When reading form for russian visa I found a section called: "City". Does it it mean that russian visa is valid only for specific cities or can I travel through all the country?
I'd like to travel to Irkutsk and then to make trekking around this city and Baikal Lake and then maybe to visit some other parts of Russia (like Sayany or Yennisey River). Which kind of visa do I need?
TIA |

No, the Cities field is needed for invitation only. They are not specified in your visa itself, so nobody will know which cities you wrote in your application form.
Basically, this is done to check that you will not be visiting territories with restricted entry (yes, they exist in Russia, but travelers usually don't even know about them).
For what you want to do, you can list Moscow, Irkutsk, and Novosibirsk. |
