| I'm out for the Trans-Siberian trip, but I'll leave for Mongolia in the middle and back to the railway. Someone recommended that I should apply for a Double Entry Visa for 3 months, but the process time is too long (18 days I think) to wait. I wonder if I can apply for a tourist visa now and another one in Mongolia? Is it possible to find any tourist agency in Ulaan Baatar to help me? Easy or not? Or you guys have any advice? Thank you~ |

Hi,
I think that if you can't wait, you can certainly get a tourist visa, as it is faster, and then get another one in Mongolia. I'm only not sure if it is still easy enough to get a Russian visa in Mongolia, I heard that in China you now need a temporary residence permit to get a Russian visa (if you're from another country).
What you could do is when you will applying for visa support -- ask to make two tourist visa supports for different dates, and then try to get two visas at the Russian consulate -- this will be perfectly OK if it works. |
