hi

I'm planning on travelling on my own to Lake Baikal as a volunteer this summer and for those two weeks my visa will should be sorted as the organisation provides an invitation (i think). after the two weeks there i want to travel on the trans siberian rw to moscow and st petersburg, possibly detouring on the way to visit other cities, so in all my travels will take about a month. do i need to plan precisely my itinary before i go in order to get the visa? or can i get a visa that allows me to stay for a month but i can go anywhere during that time? ive read as much as i can find about the visa/registration system but am still confused. do i need to register in every single city or just the first one? also do i need seperate letters of invitation as the voluntar org wil provide the first but when i leave lake baikal i wont be anyhting to do with them anymore...
any advice at all will be greatly appreciated Smile

Ask the organization to provide a visa for the whole period you want to travel to Russia. If they are unable to do it, order a tourist or a business visa for a month through this site.
