It seems every time I go to Russia I forget how difficult it can be! I want to go to Taganrog with my wife to see her parents in a month's time. I'm British. I have been there twice before we were married and both times I got a tourist invitation from the web and my in-laws sorted out the registration at local hotels. This time I used the service from WaytoRussia (because this is a great website) IntelService company. I have been told that if I do not plan to stay at a hotel to obtain a private invitation from your in-laws and apply for a homestay visa. This takes long indeed but you will be quite safe upon arrival. Is this necessary? I have only a month. Any body have experience of applying for a homestay visa in Taganrog? Best regards, Rob
