| Hi i am planning a trip to Russia this December . I have been trying to Gather all sorts of info for the travel like Visa,Accomodation,Places to go etc. but one questions looms large now in my mind - is it a good time to visit Russia ? i figured that temperatures drop below -5 pretty often and weather is gloomy most of the time . Can anyone please advise . |

3 of the 4 times I have visited Russia has been during the winter months... and I love it!!! In fact, I am moving to Saint Petersburg, from California of all places, this December. While it is freaking cold and you should prepare yourself for such, I cannot think of a better season to visit.
Who can argue a time of year that offers travelers the sight of beautiful Russian woman arriving at night clubs in full length fur coats, only to disrobe them for their mini skirts!!!
