i submitted my tourist visa application to the russian embassy in tokyo last week with all the information they asked for. however i have now been told that this isnt enough. the embassy wants confirmation of my itinerary (when i'll be in each city) from a travel company in russia.

im organising the trip myself and not going on a tour so is this why? also, i got my visa through visatorussia.com using waytorussia.net's visa support but they haven't returned my email. could someone help me out getting this official letter or advise me on what to do please?

cheers.

The Russian consulate in Japan sometimes requires so called itinerary. It can be provided by our partner company free of charge upon request. I don't know why they require it, but that's some kind of a silly rule they have.

Please, send your e-mail to visa@waytorussia.net -- it will be forwarded directly to the company that provided visa support for you. Or send me a personal message with your visa support reference number and I will forward your request to the visa company. Do not send an e-mail to visatorussia as the request was made through waytorussia and the people in the visa company need a visa support number generated through waytorussia and sent through waytorussia e-mail.

Hope this helps.
