WaytoRussia use Intel service to provide visa support documents and Intel ONLY provide the offical invitation and NOT the company support letter required by the Russian consulate.
I read this somewhere, is it true? because if the cover letter is not from Intel service then it's no use as it has to match the invitation.
Needing a confirmation on this that its true but hopefully not. |

| I always provided my own cover letter and have never had a problem. I have received both a tourist and a multi entry Business visa...using my own drafted cover letter and support (invitation) from WTR |

In September I obtained from WTR a visa invitation and confirmation by e-mail.
After a bunch of head bashing with the Russian Counsulate in Dubai I sent the completed application form , the photograph, and the visa invitation/ confirmnation to Canada. My son did the leg work in Ottawa as he lives there.. Ottawa was very up front and helpful with everything - it was as if the Russian Cunsulate in Ottawa wanted people to tour and experience Russia. To that consulate : MANY THANKS
My son took the materials to the Russian Consulate in Ottawa and paid $150. Seven days later I had the Visa for Russia - no hassle. The folks in Dubai are very evasive in terms of giving costs, always saying it "depends on your documents"..
Sending the passport by registered letter is no problem between Canada and the Middle East.
The WTR visa invitation and confirmation is done quickly and only costs $30 plus a few cents.
There is NO NEED to book rooms anywhere while you are travelling in Russia. JUST BE SURE yoiu register your visa when you have to...
Now to book a train seat through a travel agent in Moscow..
